None at all. The press does the work — slide in a stencil, add cocoa, press. If you can make a cup of coffee, you can do this.

What powder does it use?

Cocoa works best, but cinnamon, matcha and powdered sugar all work. Anything fine enough to sift through the cut-out.

Are the stencil cards reusable?

Yes — all twelve wipe clean and go straight back in. They're reusable, not consumable, so there's nothing to refill and nothing to reorder.

Will it work on my coffee?

It needs a surface to sit on, so it works on anything with foam or crema — lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, hot chocolate. Black coffee with no foam won't hold the design.
